Pumula passes is at an altitude of 4000 mts. It is said that Pumula trail was used by the royal messengers to trade between Paro to Thimphu in the olden days. Hiking in Bhutan is different from other regions in Himalaya or Asia. A day hike offers the opportunity to see a Bhutan that is scarcely touched by modern times. The trial will take us through coniferous cold broad-leaved woods.
